Pursuant to section 8A of the San Francisco City Charter, the Parking and Traffic Commission was dissolved, effective July 1, 2002. Oversight responsibility for the Department of Parking and Traffic, and the Parking Authority will be assumed by the Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) Board of Directors.
